Heart - A remedy for self-care

A tender ally for self-love, emotional healing, and connection.

Some medicine doesn't ask you to change anything. It just asks you to soften. Heart is that kind of medicine, formulated over a decade ago as the original reason Shemana began, and still our most loved offering. Worn as a mist or massaged in as an oil, the medicine, the scent and the intention stay the same. Only the form changes to meet the moment.

The Remedy

At the core is a crystalline trinity of Rose Quartz, Kunzite and Pink Tourmaline, supported by wildflower essences that hold the field steady. Rose Quartz opens what has closed, gently and without force. Kunzite releases what the heart has held too long, activating trust and emotional healing. Pink Tourmaline grounds that opening in warmth rather than vulnerability. Red Suva Frangipani lends strong support alongside them, holding steady ground through emotional turmoil.

As a mist, the blend is carried by Rose, Vanilla, Patchouli and Lavender. As an oil, it's built on a herbal infusion of Rose petals, Calendula, Centella and Marshmallow Root, blended into Camellia, Almond and Jojoba oils for deep hydration, scented with Rose, Vanilla and Lavender.

Opens the heart, dissolves emotional blockages, and invites feelings of unconditional love and stability.

For Practitioners

Heart Oil is the primary oil across our entire menu. Every signature massage flows with deep care and precision, its texture creating long-lasting slip while the medicine within it makes the work meaningful.

Heart Mist is the one every practitioner reaches for at some point in a session, a scent so woven into House of Shemana that it's part of the felt experience of being here. It's the mist guests often find us because of, as if they'd already been drawn to it before they arrived.

This remedy supports a client's field to soften, to open, to receive. You can simply mist above the receiver, let it fall upon them, inviting a moment of supportive sweetness.

Pour a few drops into your bath water with salts for a fully immersive ritual. Work through your chest, then down through any sore points in your legs and feet, releasing what the body's been holding emotionally.

For self-care

I keep the mist on my vanity and the oil for the bath, alongside Lunar Bath Powder. Reaching for the mist most mornings has become a small reminder to honour myself before the day asks anything of me.

As a mist, close your eyes and spray gently around your field with mindful intention, letting the resonance dissolve anything guarding the heart. As an oil, smooth it onto the skin, working between the ribs, around the sternum and across the décolletage.
