Illume
A ritual for finding your voice
Sometimes silence is not confusion. It is holding truth. That can come at a cost. You know what you think and what needs saying, and still the throat closes before the words arrive, an old habit of swallowing the truer thing. That is a blockage at the exact point where knowing becomes speech. Illume begins there, at the skin and at the throat, with a clear intention to be your authentic truth.
The Remedy
Illume is a phyto-active cleansing oil and the first step of the Phytonutrient Skin System. It is formulated from Camellia Oil, a seven-herb Jojoba Infusion, Castor Oil, Vitamin E and Frankincense.
It glides onto the skin as an oil, then emulsifies completely with a little water into a milk, rinsing with ease and leaving the skin soft and nourished. Its crystalline elixir of Silver, Sapphire and Celestite is a remedy for throat expression, clearing the channel between what is known and what is said.
For Practitioners
Illume is a working tool as much as a retail product. It cleanses, it provides slip, and it gives you a repeatable gesture to begin a session. As the first point of contact in a facial or bodywork treatment, it suits all skin types and prepares the way for everything that follows. It is a beginning that offers the intention of nurturing your client's truth.

Warm three to four pumps between your palms before the oil meets the client, so hands and oil arrive at body temperature. Cleanse the face and neck slowly, then invite one audible exhale. The breath tells the nervous system it is safe to soften.

Use Illume as the slip oil for gua sha at the throat and jaw. Apply a few drops, then sweep with the flat edge of the tool from the centre of the throat outward toward the ear. Keep the pressure light and make five passes each side. Repeat along the jawline. The work supports lymphatic drainage and releases the soft tissue where words are held before they are spoken. Finish with a hot towel over the face and throat, then mist the skin with Aurora Face Mist.

Offer Illume to every client who loves a skincare ritual. It is an easy first step in caring for the skin barrier, and its added medicine supports clear communication. In the shower it becomes a daily practice: a simple exhale that releases other people's voices, then a tone that rises from the heart or mind, even an audible one. The sound links inner knowing to outer expression.
It is especially supportive for clients working on honest communication or finding their voice, in coaching, counselling, singing, public speaking or energy work.

All day you listen to other people's stories. Returning to your own truth is essential to letting theirs go. At the end of your working day, simply cleanse your skin with Illume and clear the day. Then listen for what is yours: your own story, your own feelings, your own truth. It is a clean threshold between the room and the rest of your life. If you still hear others or feel their feelings, read our journal on the Practitioner's Own Threshold, or clear the field with Crystal Clearing Mist.
For self-care
Use Illume morning and evening. Massage three to four pumps into dry skin to remove makeup, sunscreen and the day's build up. Add water, then rinse.
At night, give the throat a little more time. Warm the oil between your palms and workslow circles at the throat and jaw for one full breath cycle before you rinse. Name one thing you left unsaid today, even silently. Over weeks, this gentle daily moment becomes a deeper permission to honour your knowing and your authentic voice.
In the shower, Illume doubles as slip for a light gua sha facial massage. It also works as an all-over body cleansing oil that leaves the whole body clean and conditioned.
Begin with Illume and let everything after it follow. In the morning, cleanse, mist with Aurora, then move into your day with a settled mind. In the evening, make Illume the threshold between work and rest, with a few slow breaths before you rinse. For a weekly ritual, extend the cleanse into a quiet half hour. Run a warm bath, work the oil through the face, throat and shoulders, and sit with one sentence you want to say this week. Keep it short. A cleanse that asks something of you becomes a practice.
FAQ
Does a cleansing oil suit oily or sensitive skin?
Yes, and many find oil cleansing balancing. Illume rinses clean, so it removes build up without leaving residue. If your skin is reactive, patch test first and begin with the evening cleanse.
Do I need to believe in chakras for it to work?
No. The oil cleanses and conditions the skin on its own terms. The crystal and throat work is a framework for attention, and many people value the daily minute of pausing at the throat whatever their beliefs.
Can I use it in treatments as a professional?
Yes. It opens facials, provides gua sha slip and cleanses for body and face work. Keep your pressure light at the throat and avoid broken skin.
